Spark plugs and wires - Suggestions
Hey people,
I'm looking to change the spark plugs as well as the wires before taking the car out for this summer. I thought about NGK spark plugs and Accel wires 8.8mm maybe. Has anyone a sugesstion to make? Like a specific part number? I havent checked yet about the wires, but since it's all individual coils, the wires shouldn't be too long. The car barely has any mods yet, just a Volant CAI, smooth below and Ported/polish MAF. It shouldn't change anything yet, but this summer, if all goes well, there's gonna be a whole exhaust on that, with a small tuning. So any idea about a specific spark-plug/wire set-up?
The car is a 98 Formula btw.
Thanks.

I've got the same on my C5. First, I checked out the NGK and MSD websites for the details. I got my 8.5mm wires thru Summit Racing. I think I got my plugs at Kragens. Good combo. I bought a set of KoolSox at Summit too to help keep the heat off the wires, plus they look cool!!

no need for reeally expensive and fat wires....the coil per cylinder design puts minimal stress on the resistence issue with wires.
taylor spiro-pros on my car for 3 yrs...no issues. and they were under $50
oh...and NGK tr55 gapped to .060"
for the 4x $$$ of plats...they aren't worth it.

end of discussion, go here -----> www.ws6store.com
and go to ignition, then click plug wires, and then click the first option. Its a set of MSD wires and TR55 plugs for $70.99, you cant beat that

^ Damn that is a pretty sweet deal, thanks for posting that. When i did my heads and exhaust i put in TR55s with MSD wires, when i did my cam i did TR6s with Taylor 10.4 wires. I'll probably go back to TR55s and MSD wires after seeing the deal posted above.
