Sound level difference on TD setups

Sound level difference on TD setups

I had spiral flows with an x pipe before on my cammed car. Would the sound level decreased switching to flowmaster 1 or 2 chambered mufflers?

Im not sure what it would do as far as loudness but I was curious is to why you wanted to get rid of the spiral flows. Is it because there too loud?

Not sure on how the spirals sound in person. But the flo single chambers are just pure nasty. Very deep.

I've heard both, pretty much the same as far as decibel level.....if anything the 1 chambers are a hair louder.

Dont like the drone of the Spiral flows. The sound at idle and WOT is great, but my car is more for cruising, and the drone at cruising rpm's is not what I want.

Just made an appt with a shop, going with Edelbrock 304's
