Default Epoxied Ported Throttlebody

I hope everyone goes outside and takes a look at their tb's if they have that damn epoxy on it. I heard a rattle coming from my engine and ended up pulling off the intake then the heads to find this bouncing around the damn runner.

I pulled the heads off to make sure pistons were ok and they seem fine.

I'm not sure who did it. The tb was on the car when I got it. All I know is that the tb itself had a few very light scratches in the area the epoxy goes which I guess they thought it was supose to aid the epoxy in bonding/clinging better to the aluminum.

The epoxy also had two brass colored tubes in it.

Off Topic,
But i am guessing you cleaned your drivers side pistons because they are VERY clean compared to the pass. side pistons. Like spotless!!!!

I'd be more worried about your valves, are they ok?

Quick question guys. What would be the best way to remove the epoxy from my Jantzer TB. It's still on the TB and feels nice and tight but I don't wanna risk it...lol.

Yeah that scares me. I have heard of this befor but the guy that did my TB assured me that he has never had a problem with the way he appoxies them. Luckily mine is still on there. You got lucky that nothing bad happend.

yes the scoring is supposed to help, but if the surface was not prepped right, it never had a chance.

x2...I had someone on here port mine, and I took a look at it today while cleaning the air filter...and realized that the holes in the epoxy are slightly larger than they were when I first put it on. (obviously NOT GOOD). What's the best way to get that **** out of there?!
