Just wondering whats the best aftermarket lid to put on a trans-am ram air thanks

well i just found out ii cannot use the fast 85mm lid as i well be using all other stock components, is there only 1 slp lid or is there differents 1s that are better

They are all the same . It's a look preference. some ppl say some lids fit better
I like the SLP lid,MTI has carbon fiber one ,and a clear lid

i have a SLP lid, but it didnt clear the ramair box on the inside of the hood and got cracked in the middle. i just noticed it. the lid was on when i bought the car, i think im gonna switch to a whisper lid.

you can use the fast toys lid just get the $8 gasket and it will fit. 85mm lid. leaves room to improve the maf later done the road.

I second headed-ws6 thoughts. Get the Fast Toys 85mm lid, because if you decide down the road to go with heads/cam/headers/intake etc at least you'll know that your lid will be able to keep up.

Yes, the gasket with then meet up with your stock MAF and you're good to go.

Yes As everyone else said, it gives you room to grow down the road if you mod your motor more and decide you want an 85mm MAF
