Good True Duals - Who Makes Them?
Who makes a good set of true duals? I was reading another thread that was talking about how some aren't all that good... Who makes really good, quality ones? Thanks for your help.

Lanes went out of business. He installed mine shortly before he closed his shop. Answer is to go find a guy who will build you a custom setup if you want it over the axle.

I'm satisfied with my TSP's. The Sweet Thunders are pretty tame when I'm not on the gas. It still shakes the ground at idle, though. It's always fun to set off car alarms on start up.
The clamps that came with the kit are great. No leaks so far. But, the pipe is the same size as my pacesetter's, so some adjusting was required to make them slip over each other.
Shop around for a custom set up though. It could be a lot cheaper than a kit.

I've only gone to one shop here in Springfield that i was recommended to go to and they told me it wouldn't fit and i don't know any good places here so I kinda gave up on custom ones. Would still need to see pics of "good" ones so I could show a shop and have them try to fab up a set.

Lane's isn't so much a brand as it is a guy. He's a member here and used to do some very nice custom kits. Like several have said he's prob not making them anymore but with some creative searching you could prob track him down and ask. The TSP kit is prob the best kit out there for the money, $400, you can install it yourself and it fits most header brands. Fitment and clearance are good if you take your time, and it can be modified in the future if you want to extend it or quiet it down.

Anything else? Someone said something about Kooks on another thread, but I wasn't able to find them. They would probably be really expensive though. I don't really want to spend an arm and a leg, I just want a good X-pipe.
