There is no need for that. Either you have a catch can (sealed with vacum) or you have a filter where the oil filler is to let the crankcase breathe.

Seems to me like you'd want either a sealed catch can, or a breather, not both. With that set-up wouldn't you be sucking air in through the filter?

Depends if this is a PCV (want sealed) or coolant (want vented)
application. Question does not say.

Thats the whole idea suck air instead of oil.
The thing is, if you run a vented can then you need to retune for the un-metered air that will getting in or plug up the two inlets that let oil ladden air back into your intake. The one from the valve cover to TB and the PCV. I got rid of ther system entirely. might be illegal in some statesbut I dont EPA requirements where I live.
