Default CTSV LS6 RWHP question?

I didn't know if I should put this in the external or internal LS6 engine forum or not, but here goes. I recently purchased a 2005 CTSV that is bone stock. I am putting a Volant intake on it with longtubes and full exhaust for boltons. Can this car get to 400RWHP sae or slightly better with a good streetable cam that has a good torque curve or will it take additional mods besides the cam and what I have listed? I would like to have this car at that power level and still be very streetable, as it is my daily driver. If this cam exists, which one would do the trick? Thanks in advance for your inputs.

You could put in a rather mild/tame cam with those mods and have near 400rwhp.
I saw 353rwhp on a 'stang dyno, or around 380+-5 on the other kind.(forgot the exact dynojet rwhp number) and that was with straight pipes and an intake on an otherwise bonestock LS6 in a Z06.

There are plenty of options, just look at people's signatures... LS1/6, all the same *basically*

Thought I would ask since the CTSV's usually dyno 15 or so less than the Z06 did and I am new to the LSX engines. I posted it here since not alot of people resond in the CTSV section. Thanks

figure 380s with a 224 cam and the ls6 heads on the car.

could step up to someting like the 228 and come closer to 400.

but you'll have to get into the small 23x cams probably to break 400rwhp. and driveability is fairly subjective. as for reliable. some guys break stuff with small cams...others go thousands on BIG cams. you just never know. the nice thing about smaller cams is that you won't have to rev really high...which can be a blessing.

A 224 cam with full exhaust and a tune will get you at least 400 rwhp on a dynojet.

Would a 224 or 228 be the best camshaft for it. Anybody got any opinions?

Cold air, headers, FAST intake, and 224/228 cam will put you right on 400's doorstep with no huge penalty to reliability or driveability. Get good springs and change them every 30k or so, to be safe. Add AFRs and you may bump 450 with the right tune and the same driveability.

I think the 7/8 are too big...unless going with big cam, and heads.
