I don't know how functional they are but the scoop sucks air. Up here in Northern Michigan every 2-3 weeks I run my car for about a half an hour in the winter. I noticed my car cover seems to want to get sucked into the scoop on my 02 SS just idling. So I got my daughter to snap the throttle and it REALLY wanted to get sucked in. This would make an interesting test instead of arguements. My HP Tuner AIT says it's working compared to underhood heat. Anyone have a chassis dyno? Gentlemen, start your engines.
