i guess they do speed density... I think thoo that you can actually find 103 octane unleaded fuel. I use 100 all the time at the track.

If you are not running cats nor o2's, go get yourself some 100 octane low lead aviation fuel. $4.31 a gallon at New Smyrna today for example. I pay $6.99 for unleaded Rocket brand unleaded.

www.airnav.com You can look up local airports and fuel prices. 100LL is what you want. Colored blue just like my 100 octane unleaded....

Yeah leaded+o2=crap... I assume people use speed density or at least mix it with 93.

I have run Traktek 101 unleaded and 114 leaded with my o2's as well as VP C-16. Doesn't say much for me though since my SES light is on still. Working at a shop that sells it has it privledges though. 2 years ago I filled up 10 gallons for 30$ of C-16. That crap is nearly 600$ a barrel now!

I was the same way when I worked at a motorcycle dealership. You ought to price a 5 gallon container of U4.2.... Oxygenated fuels are the ****, but the price is getting ridiculous.

I run the DENZO "lead resistant" 02s. They don't read quite the same as the stock ones but they get the job done. I also clean them about every 30-50 gallons of gas.

You can also get 104 unleaded i think sunoco makes it. I used to run it in my other 99 T.A. all the time.

Hmmmmm... This gives me an idea.. I live less than half a mile from a small airport who is listed as carrying 100LL. I wonder what kind of gains I could get from filling my car with 100LL if I raised the compression to 12:1 or 12.5:1.. basically as high as I could get it on 100LL on SD tune.

HMMMM

MORE POWER!!!

hehehe

It is off road only fuel so if they will sell it to you it will have to be pumped into containers not your car. Just a heads up!!!
