The pulley... is it really worth it?

me too thats why when the time comes i will get a regular aftermarket with better flow...i think most of the LS2 stuff fits the LS1, i know the thermostat and waterpump do anyway and they claim to be improved

I like the idea of max coolant flow at idle, but arent any of the gains power wise made by an ewp counter-effected by the additional load on the alternator?? Just as an estimate reading around i read that on average a 25 amp load on an alternator uses approximatelly 4 horsepower. I have no idea how many amps one of these uses, but I was just wondering. Im just saying that there is no such thing as free power. that waterpump no matter how it turns is still using the same amount of energy. Right?

I don't believe it uses the same amount of power. I made more power with it and get better gas mileage. Something is working correctly.
