Default installing my pacesetter LTs (pics)

got my headers and y pipe yesterday. plan on starting it today with my friend. i will post pictures as i go in this thread. how long has this install taken you guys? i have pretty good experience. also any tips for the install would be great

The pacesetters are prob. the easiest fitting of them all. you should have no problems. good luck. Brian

I am on the last phase of mine, misc parts to go back on and such. I have taken a ton of pictures and wrote down all kinds of stuff. I'll be more than happy to get them up on my webpage for you view. by the way, take those shitty *** clamps and use them for x-mas decor, they suck if you need to take anything apart

ahahah i know i have to get band clamps. im going to start the install in about 1 hr, my friend is coming over to help. got the beer and all the parts. ill take pictures and post them in here as we go

it took me like right at 2.5 hrs to get my old exhaust off, and get the new stuff on... with a lift though....

Ever done it before? 6-8 hours if you sprayed the bolts lastnight. My shorties took 2 hours

yea i did not have a problem till you run into the rear exhaust bolt on the passenger side its a pain took almost an hour just for that one bolt

here are the pics

btw, i did NOT have to cut the casting tab or undo the steering. the passenger side slid right up and the drivers did with some wiggling. these headers fit great. i now just have to adjust my y pipe and get some more band clamps.

and you do not have to have the car as high as everyone says. i used a floor jack with a 2X6 and it was plenty high enough.
