Default American Racing Headers dumdumdum!

By far the best looking and best workmanship i have seen put into any headers, and y pipe too. everything was welded perfect and was by far the easiest to install out of any headers i have ever installed, and i've installed almost every kind of headers on f-bodys, they are even easier then some shorties and midlengths too. i shoulda posted pictures of the welds and the damn near cnc like inlets of the primaries, you know how some have the weld still in there, not these, they are smoother then a babies ***. and even better my car is lowered pretty damn far and you can not see any part of the headers or y from the side, i used to bottom out goin over speedbumps but not anymore. as far as i'm concerned there is no other header that can compare to these. oh and before anyone asks, i got there 1 7/8ths primaries with 3 inch collector and 3 inch ory-pipe, they even gave me an extra piece of pipe so i could cut the hooker cat back i pipe to get it to fit, no charge, these guys are great.. Thanks nick and everyone up there for the great headers and y pipe, and nick if your on here did you get that package yet?

I picked up 25/17 to the wheels going from PORTED MAC 1 3/4" Mid's and ORY to 1 7/8" Cat'd American Racing Headers. They tucked up perfectly and the fitment was awesome ... IMO, no other company makes a header that's easier to install or produces better power. This is what my installer had to say.

Hey All,

Jack just picked up his car and should be on here after a bit. The 1 7/8" headers fit great and the cats have all kinds of clearance. The car pulling away sounded great and had no raspiness to it as it did when it had the Mac's and OR Y on there.

I was very surprised at the gains from the change of the Mac's w/ OR to the ARH 1 7/8" w/ Cats with no tuning changes. I did a locked baseline run Sunday after Jack dropped off the car to have a fair comparison instead of going back to the old runs. My base runs were close to Jack's last dyno numbers.

I will let Jack post up the numbers if he wishes. I can tell you the gains were more then what was predicted here by Disturbed Bird before the tune. I can get more specific once Jack posts.

Have a good one all.

i'm thinking of going from 1 3/4 lt pacesetters and y to the 1 7/8 and y pipe. this is on a 408 11.90comp. i wonder what kind of gain would be there for the money hit?

I ran 12.8 at 113 with just American Racing Headers ORY and magnaflow. Lid and 80mm TB.
My car was night and day after the install, I would like to know the gains over stock. Best headers on the market IMO
