finally finished painting the intake. sanding is a bitch, i sanded it all the way up to 1500 grit, sanded off those little circles on top and all the orange peel typ stuff, turned out pretty good only thing is that when i was painting some nats decided to land on it so there still there with a few coats of clear on them, but other than that it turned out realy good i think, very smoth and shiney
used adheisive promoter, high build primer, base coat and clear.

That looks awsome!! Very nice job. I remember when I did mine, Seemed to take forever to sand it, But the results sure are nice.

Beautiful how long did it take you to sand and prep?
it took me about 5 days to sand and prep but i have school and stuff and only did a little bit each day because i hate sanding, then cleaned it up spayed adhiesion promoter then primed and wet sanded paint and cleared it all in one day.

lol yea it sucked but i mainly focused on sanding the top and front more than the sides, i did those to but just not as good.

it high heat engine paint up to 1200 degrees same with the clear too. you can get it at local auto stores.
