ls2 timing chain question

ok im getting a cam and was thinking about a new timing chain can i use the ls2 cahain with the ls1 gears?

yeah, i purchased a ls2 timing chain for my cam but haven't installed yet . . . but my buddy installed his hot cam w/ls2 timing chain and it works perfect

just buy the LS2 chain. It is made to go right on the existing sprokets. When you swap the chains out hold them side by side and look at how much beefier the LS2 is.

its bigger for sure and will fit all the old LS1 stuff, just did the swap on mine....

The LS2 chain works with the stock LS1 gears, matter of fact it is the new standard replacement part for the LS1 chain.

John we still have to re-setup the install on your cam!

yes we do!! i'm purchasing some 241 heads from a member on here today and then goin to have kyle at high performance P&P them next month . . . so i'll wait to put the new heads on with the cam at the same time, sound like a plan?
