got mine back a couple weeks ago, although honestly im no expert on TBs the work looks good, communication was great, turn-around time was great. after installing the computer noticed immediatly upon start-up, it took a little while to relearn idle, just a quick trip or two. thanks again.

Did you notice any gain or improvement?

I'm seriously considering this mod.

Damian not only ported my TB, but did all of the work on my car. Nearly total build from ground up, couldnt be happier.

Spartan Performance is great, and you will not find a more honest or more reliable shop anywhere.

PS Nothing like setting off car alarms everyday I drive my baby!!!!!

Porting your TB is a must-do for anybody looking to complete their "bolt on" list of mods. There is only benefit to gain from it, and nothing to lose. Let me know when you're ready

Thanks everyone

Hopefully you can port LS2 GTO TB's, because I'll be bringing mine by in a couple weeks.

I'm sure I'll need some other work, and I know your the guy to get it done.

What are the average gains on doing a Ported TB setup on this with a dyno? Also, i was wondering... can you actually improve MPG doing this? Oh and one other.... I forgot the size of a stock TB, i was wondering... about what size does it go to?

Thanks!

Not at all. The key is not "hogging out" past the blade. Thats what messes with idle speed. All the bump stop mod does is allow the TB to properly open all the way, what it's suppose to do in the first place.

Addicted, I replied to your PM answering all your questions.

Every car is different, but the average is 5-10 rwhp. It's throttle response that is the biggest change when porting a stock unit.

I dont have any dyno #'s handy but I felt a difference on both cars after using Josh's ported TB service. Especially the truck. Josh walked me through the process while I waited on porting one for the truck, and man those things suck (not literally) from the factory. It was opened up BIG time once he was done.

ttt for you josh

Thanks Eric. Glad the truck/Z are running well

Guys, I've decided to permanently keep my price @ $55 shipped until further notice. This is by far the BEST deal out there on a fully ported LSX TB!!
