I'm going to post this just incase anyone else runs into this problem.

When I got my TB back the blade was sticking closed bigtime. So bad, I had to put the stock TB back on. Anyways, turns out I had to raise the idle screw (T-15 torx) a bit. I inverted this screw so I could make adjustments while the TB was on. The pedal is super smooth now. Idle went up to about 600 from 500. No big deal. The difference with this Damien ported TB over the stock TB is NIGHT AND DAY. This is flat out the best mod you can do for $55. Highly recommended.

Glad you got it figure out Michael. It's weird you had that problem, because every throttle body I port is tested on a vehicle before it leaves. I might have accidentally loosen the screw not paying attention. Anyway glad you're happy with everything.

Received ported throttle body. It looks awesome, everybody who has seen it is very impressed. I got delayed with some other engine mods and haven't got it running yet. But the product looks excellent and service was great. Highly recommended vender in my opinion.

I really have no clue either. I checked the height of the idle screw against my stock TB and it was exactly the same. The only thing I can think of is that the extra airflow some how caused increased resistance to the throttle blade opening up. I don't know.

Seeing what is going on with my ls6 mani install, if I end up putting it off until next week, I'll be sending out the tb monday or tuesday.

Do you do porting on the ls6 intake also? If so, I'll just send both in at the same time.

Sorry guys it's hard to keep up with this thread some days...

As for any type of intake porting. I do not do any of that at this time. I have a couple of "test units" here I'm working on, both LS6 and FAST. Once I feel comfortable with the work, I'll let everyone know.

hmm...I'll have to figure out a way to get another TB so I can run my car while the stock Tb is getting ported. Once I figure this out I'll be sending mine out.
