Default Muffler suggestion?

I have a 98' LS1 going into a 95' 240SX and i need help with selecting a muffler.

it needs to be a 3" in/out and as thin as possible length and width can be dealt with.

both collectors are going to merge into a single 3"

I need it to decent flowing but keeping the db down.

mods:

LS6 intake
LS6 heads
MS4 Cam
CAI
Longtubes

This is what you want, sir!

The only thing is you will need an oval collar adapter, but that's no big deal!

i think the spintech will be to loud espically at crusing speeds. If you want quiet at cruising speeds but loud at wot there is nothing better then the hooker max flow. Search for muffler shoot out on google and you should see the chart on some mustang forums

my local speed shop recommended the edelbrock RPM muffler. i told them i wanted reasonably quiet for normal driving. i'm happy, its only noisy if i get on it.

Thanks for the link!

after going through the shoot out I have to agree, looks like I am going to get a hooker max flow.

The rest of my exhaust should help with the WOT db out put too, I have a high flow cat, in length resonator (bullet muffler) and the 3" tip is muffled as well (yes the ricey style exhaust) its IMO the best sounding import exhaust its growly-er and not so can-o-bees.
