Default car running slower that it should

I have a 98 trans am with roughly 400 hp. for some reason i dont think im getting all that power. Just the other day i lost to a 02 ss with cat-back only. Im thinking it might be the cars motor having 160k on it. but i honestly have no clue. I just recently had a tune up as well so thats not it either. wondering what you guys think on the subject. thanks.

P.S. -- its not a driver mod either.

Anything can happen on the street. I put a car on my buddies 2001 Z06 from a 5-10 MPH roll. He is no slouch when it comes to driving either, I am pretty sure he was spinning a little more than I did in 1st, 2nd.

With those mods you should have put a pretty good beating on him. Are sure he only had a catback? He could have had a little N02 helper?? I would take it to the track and see what you ET.
