It is nice to do the work when you are doing a head or cam swap... I did mine when I swapped my heads. Also be patient and it will look pretty good...expand the braiding to it's fullest diameter and work out from the center. You also need to figure out which connection to do first...need to get the clamps reachable and hidden.

Call him he is getting quite a few in...in different colors...
They are going up in price from what I have heard so call him now to see if you can get one with his order...

Yeah, I've seen those fake braided connectors before, but I'm interested in the real ones if it's not too much of a PITA. It would make it SOOOOOOOOOOO much easier when working on the engine... just cuz hose clamps and I have historically had some problems.... hehehe

I have a combination of real annodized finishes and the paint system from Metal Cast. It takes some time to get it right....the undercoat that gives the surface an aluminum look I used by itself on things like the STB.
