looks nice how is the throttle body referenced when it is put in the cnc...how much error does the reference play into the result...just curious how close you can get with a 3 axis..

so those gains are compared to an already ported tb not a stock one?! if so that seems too good to be true.

Yes. And Anti Venom just saw a 10 rwhp gain on a C5 heads/cam....but that would be the very high side.

Remeber, the hand ported TB's improve low end throttle response, but no measurable gains on the dyno do to the offset design (one side of the throat is a straight shot & the other a steep angle causing all sorts of turbulance when the air charge exits). This design actually slows the straight shot, enhances the steep angle side, and gives it a slight swirl to blend it for a nice straight good flow out the backside.

Has RevXtreme compared LS1 stock TB to this CNC design back-to-back on the dyno yet? The figures I see are compared to hand ported TBs. If not, any guesstimates?

If only someone would design one of these with internal passages for a wet N2O shot...

Our final tests were back to back at our Tampa facility that had the enclosed climate controlled chassis dyno (our Sarasota shop has the dyno above ground now & no climate controlled room) on a 2001 TA. First was with a stock untouched TB for the base line. Then we put on one of our hand ported and showed no overall power differance between the un-ported one, then the CNC patterend tb showed 8 rwhp gain....car was tuned with the stock un-touched tb to begin and we did no tuning until after the testing was done. There are now dozens of these out there in use so we are hoping to see more unrelated shops post their results.
