The design on golf ***** is a great comparison, remember some designs that were outlawed in PGA? If you look at the stock TB you can imagine how it would look on a wet-flow bench. The straight side barrelling down the throat with little to deflect & disturb it. The oppisite side has a steep slope that deflects & curls the flow off it and when it hits the rest of the stream it becomes a turbulent mess. This actually does a great job of equalling it all and the slight swirl blends it with a nice clean flow exiting the TB throat into the intake manifold. That's where the power comes from. Now the improved throttle response that a good hand ported unit gives is due to removing the casting flash & sharp edges so at lower velocity it does improve the flow, but at a certain velocity it cancels out the gains that could be realized & thus produces little to no high RPM HP gains.

How much for the bump stop mod, half shaft mod and cncing my tb?

So does the CNC'd tb still have the improved low end throttle response like the hand ported tb's?
