Tsp 1-7/8
Tsp 1-7/8 Anyone else running them? Searched and keep finding the same few threads. They've been out a decent while so I thought more people would be running them. How was the install/how are the headers/what y-pipe are you using are some things I'm wondering. Thanks.

Heard a couple guys on here say they had to unbolt motor mounts and raise motor for install but then had good fit and clearance. Sorry but I've only worked with ARH, Hooker and Pacesetter and they all fit nicely and installed pretty easy.
I have heard through various PMs that the lengths to go to get them in aren't too bad, and once in the clearance everywhere is great. I am not too familiar with 7/8 header fitment, I've heard mixed bag on most brands of 1-7/8 fitment, that it usually requires a bit more care than installing 3/4 headers (didn't think that extra 1/8 inch would make it more difficult but then again I have no frame of reference...).

The headers actually do fit really good. But like any header, you do have remove stuff like the steering shaft, ect. to get them installed. Depending on the motor mounts, you may have to slide the motor up an inch or so or you can unbolt than transmission from the crossmember and slide the motor to the side a bit to get the driver's header into place. The passenger side header will go right in, no problem. Any 1 7/8" header is a little more work on the install due to larger primaries. However, we were willing to sacrifice some labor on the install to have a set of headers that perfectly!
