Default Wondering wut i should do next

i have a 99 ws6 wit the mods in my sig and a lil more but the previous owner did know all them off hand

i was wondering what i should do next to the motor before i go and get it tuned or get a chip

any ideas would be great..just got my car had a 86 T/A and its wayy diff

I think the next step would be a convertor or a cam. I don't see either one of those listed. It does seem weird that someone would do heads without a cam though.

thats what i was thinking of doin next..the previous owner didnt tell me if it had a cam or not soo im not gunna list it....what stall and cam u think i should get? 3500stall?

i also need a torque arm its still stock

Don't waste your money on a handheld tuner. You can get a dyno tune for the same price at most places.

lol i know but i wanna do other work before i do that but...my speedos un calibrated for the last 4 yrs and the milage is wayyy off and its 15 mph off

get rid of the tb spacer and sell it to another noob. get a dyno tune done and a higher stall converter.

probably because it does nothing. Get a stall that is at least 3600. I say the Yank PT3800, that's what I'm going with. Then get a dyno tune, have your shift points changed, Torque management, line pressure added. Get a cam to make use of those heads.

What you need to do more than anything is research what you do have on the car and then research other things you are interested in and figure out what YOU want for YOUR car and what works with your combo.


A list of your goals would be alot more helpful.

just want a nice street car..its got everything done besides a stall and idk bout the cam...want a nice cam that will sound good and give it more power

the heads are the problem because i dont know what the previous ower did to them but they said they had some stuff done to them

I kinda wanna be in the 11s

ya im all new to all this computer stuff...i had a 86 t/a before this and i did it all myself cuz it was so easy...took the computer and emissions out and built it like a 60s car

i need to learn all the stuff about ls1s

what do i have to talk to the tuner about?
