I think it's sick. I thought about doing something like that but could never figure out what exactly I wanted to do. I might have to come see it one day, since I usually in Blue Ridge once a week for work. I would leave the hose silver so everyone sees your setup. Hell of a job man!!

My sheetmetal wasn't perfectly flat either since it came of a 88 camaro hood ;-) So it naturally wedged itself a little. As long as you cut it a little bigger than the box that holds the filter you should be fine.
Its the aluminum tape they use on home a/c systems. Been a week and haven't notice any change in appearance so I'm gonna keep rolling with it unless it comes apart.

Looks really good man!! I've just built my own intake, and am about to turn mine into a true ram air. I'm going to try to mate it with the hood and seal it off around the stock "ram air" ports.
