getting some rasp? listen to the clip and let me know
ok here is the link for my site.... let me know if that sounds like rasp or whatever. i have stcok manifold, cat bypass pipes, slp ypipe, and the stock collector with a flowmaster.

i dont know if that is just a normal sound or what but if it isnt whats a good way to get rid of it and still sound good. sound is a little distorted i was backing in the garage...

well see i took off the cats and i dont wanna put them back on cuase the power increase was awesome...i mean hell i noticed some rasp even with the stock set up and the flowmaster, but it was flater and sounded weird....this actually sounds meaner then the stock set up...is it possible to have rasp with stock set up and flow?...and let me know if that sounds really crappy to you guys...

Rasp is caused by the ypipe. I think it has to do with the 2 exhaust streams colliding.
Anyway, most people think the flowmaster catback isnt a good choice with ory pipes. No prob, just replace the flowmaster muffler with a straight through magnaflow or ultraflo muffler and use the existin pipes from the catback. This should eliminate the rasp along with some gains in hp. The flowmaster mufflers dont flow as well as the straight through design.

The rasp is most likely the cats. Some folks say going with true duals will work too. I have rasp with my setup of JetHot LT's, ORY, and Magnaflow muffler. Here's a link -

LOL...thats not sooo bad. I have the FLP LT's with oryp and SLP LM catback.....if you wanna hear rasp you outta hear my setup. Supid loud, obnoxious, and just keeps me smiling all day long. It scares the girls who wait on the bustop in the morning :o)
