Question Car is popping out the exhuast???

My car is a 1998 Trans Am it has a full exhuast and a 3500 stall and a lid. My car has been sitting for 2 years and i just got it all done (me and my brother bought it wen we were 17 project) Well i took it for a ride and wen i get on it is popping and doesnt go anywhere?? It has newer plugs but, i dont no if it needs to get tuned or just a tune up plugs msd wires, oil etc... Any suggestions

Tuning may be the issue. Pull the plugs and check them for cracks as well as how the tips look( White hot/ black etc.) also check for any small exhaust leaks in your system. Good luck with it.

I brought the car to by buddy shop and scaned and it said engine misfire i no i have a little exhuast leak but it is missing on all the cylinders??? Im getting it aliened rite now so im going to do msd wires plugs and fuel fifter and put good fuel in and drive it around and see if that helps it out

Check the wiring for the coil packs first...

need more info, but if it is throwing a misfire code, sounds like it could be a misfire....probably plugs, wires, fuel, or some type of wiring to any of that.

By good fuel i ment just run 93 through it and put the heat in the tank just in case it has water in it. It did have just ten bucks of 87 in it yesterday and it was still doing it. So i put 93 in it and i dont no y but the alternator went out on my way home from the shop and i did notice went it pops the gauge is jumping around??? So can that be a problem just not enough power?? Thanks guys for your help

Sounds like it's really "RICH" or igniton/tuning issues man.
