how off would my tune be?? hey guys i have a quick question.
a few days ago i put on a set of pacesetter coated lt and a tsp ory and today i put on a p&p.
my car has a conservitive dd tune but was done before the lts ory and tb so how bad will it be off?
im going to the dyno on the 30th.
i know lt's are suposed to make the car run rich but wont the extra air from the tb lean it out?

for max hp you will want a tune, but you wont have any problems if you dont tune it.. i have a bunch of friends that just have LT's and ory,ls6 intakes, that they dont get tuned, and their cars still run strong,without any issues either...
you will be good till the 30th. or even longer, but you just leave a lot on the table if you dont ever get it tuned. i never tuned my 99 t/a cuz i didnt know any better and it was runnin 10.5's in the 1000ft which is roughly 12.40-12.50's in the 1/4. i bet i could have picked up a lot with a tune.
It totally depends on the car. It could be way off now or it could be pretty close. If it were me, I'd re-tune for sure. If you've already had it tuned before, a re-tune shouldn't be any more than $75 or so.

well my tuner charges 50 for the retune then 60-70 for the dyno time.im going to get a retune eather way and i honestly think it needs to be retuned.
the car seems to be runing good but it smells rich like gas but i also havent really got on it yet.
i just wanted to make shure i dont hurt any thing by driving it before the tune.
