i think my y pipe bang is triggering y knock sensor can those be tunned out for the short term till i do my mounts next month?

Try the LS1 Y-Pipe "Bump Stop" Hanger by mufflex. It worked for me.

There is no downside to no knock.
The problem comes in when there is knock, and the PCM can't sense it. Then bad things happen to the cylider walls inside the engine.
The knock sensors are there to keep bad things from happening. Remove them, and well........it's about as safe as removing a condom when you're bangin the neighborhood skank.
