Default Corsa Problems....

well i got a ticket a while back for my duals being illegal and too loud. I order a Corsa catback the next day.

Install was great, everything fit, all the parts came, and the finish looked sweeeet.

Ive put about 35 miles on the car, since the catback. i started it today and i heard a bad rattling sound. It kinda just came outta nowhere.
Ive heard a thing or two about corsa's mufflers that rattle, but this was like my 3rd day driving it !

im not sure what to do, i was looking at other catbacks (i miss my duals ) , but the corsa sounded pretty sweet with my setup.

Do you think if i got another one, it would last longer? Or do you think i should switch to a new exhaust? Corsa said they would ship me a new one with my warrenty. I've heard of guys going through 2 and 3 corsa mufflers though.

I'm stuck right in the middle! help me guys

It sounds like maybe you are still going thru the first few heat cycles on your setup. I would not be so quick to judge. I would allow for a least a few cycles of heat/cool/tighten/adjust before I would pass final judgement on the setup. Have you gotten underneath and looked for the source of the sound?

Yeha ok. I bought a systam that had maybe 50 miles on it (no carbon at all). The guy was older and thought it was too loud. I have his reciept and they told me it would cost me $210 plus shipping and there was no second owner warranty. Come on this was brand new when I got it.
And yes my muffler did this as well.
