Can I leave the stock mount on there?

might as well upgrade it, doesnt cost to much but if your not having any vibrations you could probably leave it.

I want the least vibrations. Only reason I am installing solid mounts because the factory ones were melting.

soild mounts yikes... Why did not go with poly mounts? Just wondering?

I have the PTK turbo kit. The crossover pipe runs next to it, the header is directly above it, and the downpipe is on the other side of it.

those solid mount are hard on the k-member. you have a lote of energy that has to go somewhere, so sometimes that turns into a crack. had it happen many times in a nova. not recomended for street use.

I would go poly on the trany else it will probably pull apart later on....could be a while though

I've go the solid motor mounts and a poly trans mount. Haven't had any problems yet

Exactly. I haven't heard of a sinlge cracked k-member in a 98-02 f-body b/c of solid motor mounts.

if you read what i said, i said sometimes they can crack. what i dont understand is that and aftermarket k-member in a nova are made to put a big-block in them. if you put a supercharger on that it adds alote of stress, so why would it be less quality?
