wow, reading all this reminds me of a bunch of middle school kids talking about whos dad will beat up whos dad. Run the cam you want, and just post the pros and cons of a certain setup without arguing like a bunch of girls. I would run a huge cam just because of the sick sound a big cam will give you.

guys, i just rode in my buddies 98 SS with a VINDICATOR II cam i think with a stock ls1 intake and holy $hit!!! that thing sounds mean and actually seemed like it drove well untuned!! he has 4.10 so im thinking that helps. it didnt buck, or surge or die out... the nastiest idle for sure!! puts my tuned X1 to shame..

At normal idle rpms [ 750 rpms ] my car shakes so much that it will loosen the fillings in your teeth. I have the idle set at 1000 RPMs and it tames the shake enough to make it enjoyable.
