Nice examples! FOR THE TRACK!
What is it 11 out of the 14 examples up there, are running a 4.10 gear or lower (numerically higher)...And the one guy with a 5.13 gear?? You wanna drive a car with this gear on the street with a 3 speed automatic in a daily driver? Get Real!
Look at the size stall convertors on these fucken cars!!! 4000+ stalls! Again on a street driven daily driver? I dont think so.
How about some of the curb weights of these cars? Seems to me these are "dedicated" track cars.....
If you read the subject of this thread it talks of DAILY DRIVERS!!!

If you insist.... Just because you are too whiny to daily drive a seriously built car, don't assume that we others will not. You have a narrow interpretation of what is streetable. You may expect your camaro to behave like a Lexus but many insist that it act like a race car and they love it. To each his own.
Who the hell are you to tell others that they are stupid or wrong or second best because they picked a bigger cam than you think is necessary? Or their car is more gutted than you think a street car should be. You are the type that every time you get your doors blown off it is only because the other car is a "racecar".

I'd rather give up a little on top to pick up a bunc on the bottom and in the middle. Best "average" power is what you want in an enjoyable daily driver. Now if you're looking for a cam to take out to the Burger King on Saturday night to impress other people - go big.
Me, I'd rather impress myself every time I drive the car.
Just my $.02

your gains are alot more but you have to make up your mind with what the car is going to be used for street only, race only, both or what?? most people with larger cams arent concerned about streetability most are concerned with track times. then it has alot to do with who the hell tunes it. i went with the ms4 and drove it daily close to a year without any problems ran such as stock except for surging at lower rpms which wasnt a big deal to me. some people see the ms4 wayyyy too big for street use i dont at all worked very well for me.
Seems to me these are "dedicated" track cars.....

do you know the difference in taking off from a red light in a 3k stalled car and a 4k stalled car.. about 150-200rpms... thats not really a big difference at all..
my race weight is 3250... what does that mean? it cant be on the street? i still have almost all of my safety features..
just because you cant handle a 4k stall 410s and a low race weight doesnt mean we can... my car is a dedicated street car.. i take it to the track about once every 3 months or so, and again EASILY drive it 50-60 miles a day.. usually just after i do another mod such as heads do i go to the track... i dont have an aftermarket tranny or rear... no cage.. no nitrous... doesnt sound like a "racecar" to me.... you seem like a tool after that post...
