Why run a big cam in a daily driver?
Sorry dude, but I don't worship at the feet of you internet heroes that run 11's with just a lid and drag radials.

That being said, I am fully aware that a "big" cam does not always outrun the smaller cam. All else being equal, it usually will.
huh?people who've never even raced at the track shouldn't talk about their car outrunning built cars "from a roll" and offer nothing to back it up except, "it feels faster".
My car gets spanked by as many as it beats. But I don't race on the street for 3 seconds with no traction then tell the internet *** kissers that suck the dicks of the high post count guys I outran a supercharged viper. That is ricer talk.
ms4, prc ls6, 4k stall, 410s, ported 90/90, LT's xpipe 1 chamber FM's.. race weight is 3250..
i know what a 6.9 is.. that why im shooting for it..

im hoping for a 6.9, expecting a 7.0@96.. but who knows..?

This internet pissing match is slowing down. You know there are some bigass cammed beasts out there. I know there are small cammed monsters out there as well.
I like lumpy, high winding, narrow powerband race cars. I also like blown big-block torque monsters. They can both be very fast if the combo is right. Pick whatever style puts the biggest smile on yer face.

2300-6800 RPM Power Band with a peak around 6400rpm; This is an excellent performance camshaft with a rough idle! Custom tuning and PRC dual valve spring kit required
This camshaft typically gains approximately 60+rwhp!

his car runs very good for his mods.. mine isnt fast.. but is a stout setup..
we will see..
10.9-11.0 is fast for a N/A street car.I tend to be wary of those that are half a second faster than every other car with the same mods. Drag racers notoriously lie about their motors. Everyone is "all stock except this one little thing".
