Default Sourcing a 382 ci stroker kit

I am an aussie that currently owns a Holden SS Ute with the LS1 engine. I have begun enquiries in Australia regarding stroking the motor out to 382 ci, however due to the lack of competition in the country these engine kits are at a premium and the overall project would be financially difficult. It has been suggested that I source the engine kit from the United States due to the wide spread experience with this engine this would be a cheaper path to follow.

I am asking if anyone can recommend any reputable companies with websites that I could begin to peruse for further information and pricing.

Thanks fellas.

Our Sponsor SDPC has Callies 4.0" cranks for around $1,500 USD. They can also be had in 4.125" swings for slightly more dough...

There was an Ausie company that was preparing to manufacture stroker crank shafts for the Gen 3 engines and import them into the US ...

I don't think it ever produced any and the estimated cost was not competitive with others... ...not sure of the company name

you can try a search here, however ,,,discuss was more than six months ago, I think...

I think they even had a web page and had assigned a US importer...

How much would it cost to offset grind a stock crank? Can you do that to stroke 4", or will it be shorter?

I think an offset ground crank is like 3.8something stroke.

Check out C.O.M.E. Racing in Melbourne. They've just released a stroker kit for $4730 Oz. See: www.comeracing.com
