I would bump compression a bit to at least 10:1, what size reliefs do you have?

thanks for the input.i was hoping to get a 10.1 comp ratio, could not find any lq9 flat tops that would fit my press pin rods, these sealed power hypereutectics that i have have a 11cc dish.my static comp. ratio with a .041 gasket gets me in the 9.6:1 range.it may be possible to trim my heads a couple more ccs. the piston is out the hole .004 so my PTH clearance is close to borderline.may have to step up in gasket thickness.
thanks again. oh by the way! what kind of idle would this cam produce!

with the lsa on a 111+1 it will sound pretty darn nasty at idle. My cam is on a 111 and it is sweet

I'd give Ron@Vengeance a call or shoot him a email about a cam. Mine is a 243/247 from them. Makes great power and torque!!!

.041 gasket and .004 piston deck height is .037 quench. Very respectable and nowhere near borderline. Keep the gasket as such. Just mill the heads a bit more. If you like I can tell you exactly how much with that cam.
224/230 111 LSA is 5* overlap, so noticeable lope but not outrageous.
If you like it PM me and I'll give you the specs and work out your chamber size for best static compression and dynamic.

If he is running a stock torque converter with that size cam I would imagine compression would have to be bumped up to keep from having surging issues.
