Nice price and good flow numbers. MTI has proved they are the best in the business! Jayson and crew are always trying to make it better for us LS1 owners! Thanks Jayson, now if we could get that 422 stroker price down I would love that!!!!!

How much would the LS6 head run for with LS1 cores.
We cannot accept LS1 cores for LS6 heads even at a higher price. If you can find LS6 heads at a cheap price get them and send them to us for full Stage IIe upgrade. If you need cores from us, we sell them at our cost which is $1200. delivered.

MTI will build your cylinder heads uncut or cut them to your desired compression.

MTI doesn't flow test their heads with an intake attached. Why would those numbers matter anyways, its not like we have another alternative intake to put on right now. Stock LS6 intakes flow about 265-270 cfm

They matter because thats what the motor see's and some heads suffer reversion with the intake attached. If the intake is only good to 265-270 how can Absolute Speed get 282 through one? Flow #'s mean nothing without the intake attached. And like MTI doesn't have 50 LS6 intake lying around and there own flow bench? 30 min of work with available parts can tell us a lot.

So it looks to me like MTI stage I were replaced with stage IIe. As far as I remember stage one had the same valve sizes as this stage IIe. Would it be possible to elaborate on what the difference is?

Its not like MTI is some new shop that hasn't already proven the quality and performance of their products. The first car dynoed with these heads put down some impressive numbers. The flow numbers presented were flowed in an identical test method as all of their previous heads and presented flow numbers. The port designs haven't changed any, and the same porters still do the hand-porting. Numerous dynos and track times out there have backed up their products. So really, do your LS6 intake flow numbers really need to be known? Personally, i'd rather know the track results and dynojet numbers, not flow number junk. I sure wouldn't buy a set of heads based on flow numbers alone.

I agree with Tony. MTI's heads are tried and proven regardless of any intake used.
