so i took my motor apart again due to another failed lift, this time i decided to yank the motor... well now i know why it failed the third time (prolly the cause of the 2nd failure also...)

looks like you run low on oil too long

its only been 1 quart low a couple of times... other than that it was always checked on a regular basis...

How many miles on this build??? Are you cleaning the block throughly before final assembly, Like with nylon brushes through all the oiling passages and through the crank before finall assembly???

Looks like problems with bearing clearances, get the motor over to Shawn @ VA Speed and he will fix it for good.

plasti gauge was used i just dont remember the clearances

this build has about 25k miles.

ill just redo the motor as cheap as possible to get it on the road... not gonna sink anymore money in this 347, but i will be picking up a 6l block soon to build

mahle forged 3.905's -4cc (valve reliefs)
