Comp Cams Xtreme XE-R 224/230 Review's
ok im looking to finaly buy my cam im geting ready to slap my 862 heads with 2.055/ 1.6 valves. i wanted to know if any one has used this cam with 862 heads and .040 head gaskets? buw im looking at the one with .581/.588 lift and 114 lsa

how the drive ablity? on urs and whats ur specs? see as of right not my t/a is my dd but i have a 95 bird i keep for when ever my t/a is down so it dones not have to be a DD but i like driving it a lot so i have to keep it on the street

my girlfriend has the comp 224/230 on 114 lsa with patriot ls6 style heads 59cc. the intake valves are 2.055 and the car is totally streetable. she ran a 12.1 @ 114 mph with that cam and stock unported 243 heads. car is 3700 lbs race wieght as well. hopefully with these new heads, she can get an 11 sec pass on 17 inch drag radials

Pplenty of people over here use it with good results and it has excellent driveablity in street cars. As far as Comp's catalogue cams go, it seems to be one of the better grinds.
