PUMP GAS

Final #s after a brief break in are 603rwhp/563rwtq SAE.... Unfortunately we have found the limits of the FAST intake. Map readings went from 98 to 93 from 4000rpm and up....We disconnected the intake tube and tuned speed density and saw no improvement in MAP readings. I think our customer is going to enjoy his new combo for a while and then head back over for a custom sheetmetal intake and larger TB. I am confident we can see 630s out of this combo on pump gas with the new intake and a few break in miles!!!

This is my daily driven set up.
Iron block 408
XHP "Race" ported 799's - I won't recommend them because the power flattens off from ~5300 RPM up.
240/244 .608/.612 114+2
Fast 92/PTM 92
30 lb SVO injectors
QTP 1 7/8 headers
3" True duals,w/high flow cats, H-piped, ran under the axel and out the back.

This is an M6 car w/a MWC fabbed 9" and 3.89 gears.
455/430 w/the bad XHP tune 481/464 w/new SQR tune, plus a lot better drivability.

Haven't gotten any good track times yet due to oil leaking on the clutch w/in 3k miles. Thanks for the bad tune, jacked up build, and not covering the clutch the oil leak ruined, XHP!

No prob. They have gotten a bad rep locally. There were 2 threads in the
TX section with people having probs w/them, but they got deleted.

Cheers, glad you like it!

I am hoping to bust a 130mph terminal and crack 200mph at Vmax this year, Vmax is an event with a 2mile straight, fastest speed not time being the goal.
Getting a bit nearer to a 10 would be a bonus!

the Teksid block which come in 96-98 cobra's can handle 1200hp easy...thats what blocks Built 03/04's use when rebuilding a stronger engine. the weak link is the rods and pistons....already has a forged crank too but Mod motors are good for only one thing....BOOST!!!!
