Default picked a cam, is it right for me?

i picked the Vengeance Racing VRX4 228/230 .588/.592 112 LSA
i am looking at this cam because it doesn't seem large by any means, but isn't tiny either..and its advertised as making power starting at 1900 rpm which means i can still cruise on the highway without any problems and can retain my 3.42 gears

car will see daily duty primarily with occasional visits to the strip to run 1/4 mile
what i have is a 98 formula stock cube 6sp with stock gear weighing in at approx 3400lbs with 3/4 tank, some **** in the back seat, and no driver

the rest of everything will consiste of kook's LT's, kook's ory, magnaflow catback, K&N fipk, 80mm bbk tb, ported weiand intake, and ported 806 heads

i'm not really looking for criticism on any other aspects/components of my car, just would like to know if i've picked a cam that will suit me well or not

For a DD I would have went with 114LSA...but even beyond that how come the duration between int and exhaust is only 2 degrees? will that match the heads better?

Oh yeah, it does lope pretty good. Not like any of your mid 230 cams and up but enough that it gets peoples attention real quick.

Nice. Make sure you get what you want, not what everyone else has or likes.

I personally would go a bit smaller but cams are so subjective. There is no "perfect" camshaft other than one that fits your personal expectations.

Your definatly in the ballpark, in my opinion.

The only thing I'd be concerned about is a little chug in 6th gear with those small gears

Pretty similar for my F-11 228/230 .576/.595 114lsa from Futral Motorsports. I have put mine on the highway a few times and get gas mileage and dd it.
