jfm: I'm just looking for a conservative 500-550 rwhp on 93 octane. Not going all-out on the performance potential for now, this car has to be reliable enough to complete the Hot Rod Power Tour next year.
Hugh: I had Madman restore the front subrame, but other than that I'm doing the rest in my garage. Its like a big model kit

Levi: ARE valvecovers, I had them chrome plated
Todd: I elected not to paint the block and other stuff because the engine is hardly recognizable as an LS1 anymore. If I painted the block, water pump, etc.. people might just think its another iron block SBC or something. All-Aluminum looks normal in our 4th gens, but exotic in a classic car
