I have the older stg 2.5 5.3s _ TR224/224 @ 114 with UD Pulley,LTs,LS6 intake mani and put down :



currently chasing down an annoying tick that started shortly after that dyno. im thinking lifter.

TSP - How well do your Stg 3 LS6 heads flow? I might be looking to get those + a bigger cam as i won't have to flycut.

Thanks so much for posting the chart. Looks like the torque curve is nice and flat as mentioned above. Was this through a 10 bolt with the stock 3.42 gears? Lastly, what do you mean by the "older" 5.3's...if I purchased these tomorrow they would be a newer version? What is the difference?

stock rear/stock gear. ya a while back (couple months) TSP updated the heads. these heads are 3-4 yrs old i think.

everyone that has this cam and numbers- can you specify for the OP (and myself ) if the numbers are uncorrected/ STD/ SAE

man for what you are looking for the best thing for you to get would be TSP 5.3 heads

I'd say a LS6 intake and a better tune. But that might hurt you on smog if the tune is pushed a little more...

It's a '02 so it already has the LS6 intake manifold. I think the tune could be much better.
