Default relucter wheel

what do i do if i have the wrong relucter wheel is there a way to tell what wheel it is with the moter is in the car and i heard there is a harness that u can get to fix this problem?

i dont have a clue about a harness but i imagine it wouldnt change anything since it is the computer that reads the pulses from reluctor wheel to determine crank position...

you could probably see the wheel if you dropped the oil pan

if i drop the pan how do i tell r do i have 2 count the teeth and what year lq4 had the right relucter wheel for the ls1 swap

Should be later then '05 for the 58x. Just look at the crank sensor connector above the starter. If its grey, its 58x if its black, its 24x.

I believe Lingenfelter has the conversion box/harness.

thanks everyone i should be okay its a 2001 according to the sticker on the heads it was a test engine out of gm

If the PCM does not match the reluctor wheel it will not start. You have to have the correct computer for the reluctor wheel.
