You said a 1998 LS1 block, right? The max overbore on a 98 block is like .005". You absolutely cannot bore a 98 LS1 aluminum block .030" over, unless you resleeve it, and there is no way your gonna buy that motor for $2000. Your getting screwed!!!!!

So many people don't even know how much power 400rwhp is, let alone 575rw.
I remember back in 06 when I did my heads/cam setup and it made 446/411 with my cheap headers, LS6 intake, and baby cam. One of my buddies told another guy we know what it made and his response was, "That's all?"
This guy drives a 95 5.0 that at the time MIGHT have had headers and a CAI A lot of people really have no clue

judging by the forged parts, theres a good chance its a nitrous motor... he did say fogger system... by the sound of it, the motor only makes ~350 NA RWHP but it set up for a BIG shot

Even if he got the motor for free, who in the hell would take a 5K+ loss just because he's getting a bigger motor?
Buy it for 2K tomorow and sell it for 6K by saturday... that's IF it has what your buddy claims and comes complete.
If he's stripping heads, fogger, intake, ect, ect all off the motor and just selling a short block then you might want to ask around again if its still a good deal.

^^^ you are retarded. Gm Hot Cam = NOT BIG LIFT. Sorry. Plus you couldnt run that vert in the range you are saying without a full cage and some other stuff....actually ALOT of other stuff. Esp for a claimed 500+ RWHP on a stock 98 block.

i had a 500rwhp ls1 stock internals just cam, 243 stage 2 patriot heads and bolt ons. o and -2cc valve reliefs in the pistons. didnt last long though. this guy is full of ****. scat parts are ****. its only worth $2,000 and i doubt your getting the front accessories and coil packs.

You have a ****** SUPERCHARGER....why are you posting about it here.
And your 557 RWHP with an FI set-up is absolutely NOTHING special.....even on all that stock stuff. There's engines out there like yours with FI making upwards of 800 RWHP.

I listed my mods yea im just sayin tht stock block can make taht easy with stock **** and i meant the bigger gm hot cam.
So some people responded i couldnt do it..and some telling me its weak.....

I bought my conv ram air wrecked with the charger already there...so didnt pay alot for it but seriously guys f u
