Default What length PR with PRC 59cc heads?

Anyone else running PRC 2.5 heads milled to 59cc and a TR224 cam? What size PR should I be lookin gto run with this setup? Here are all the details.

TSP PRC 59cc milled heads
LS7 lifters
TR224 cam on 114
Replacement stock GM head gaskets

I currently have aftermarket hardened stock PR in there, do I have to wait til everything is ripped apart to check what length I will need and then order or is anyone running this setup?

Thanks

I am going to measure but here is the deal. I'd like to get a rough idea of what length others with my setuo are using, so that when I order the PR length checking kit, I can also order a set that will most likely match my setup so I have them instead of ordering twice and waiting 4-5 days twice to get them from TSP. If they aren't what I need I can always send them back. Currently I have the 7.4 hardened rods in there and I'm guessing they aren't going to work. Is it a good bet that if anything I'm going to need shorter PR then 7.4?

Responded to your PM, but forgot to ask what part number was on the Comp package you received. We only stock one pushrod length checker PN typically, and I just want to rule out the chance that you got the wrong one! Let me know.

You could bottom out the lifters (Too much preload), I would not risk it.

It needed A 7.350... the 7.400 was WAY to long.

Sorry Comp sent us the wrong pushrod checkers, but no worry I had my guys eat a little bit of overnight to get the correct checker to you asap. We always try to take good care of the customer even when the manufacturers mess us around!!

Definately need to get the correct pushrod checker. My bet is 7.350" will work, but a little bit of checking can go a long way. Don't worry it'll be worth the wait...

7.350 worked good jason. We will be dynoing the car later today. We did a similar set up a few weeks ago with those heads and they made great power for the set up.

Nice! Not bad for a relatively small camshaft and budget oriented heads! Should be a fun ride for Richard!
