Default Trickflow 235's and 4.005" bore?

I know they say a minimum bore of 4.030" but I want to know if anyone has used these on a 4.005" bore? I know that .025" isn't much difference in bore size and that is why I'm wondering. I'm looking to go with a nice set of heads for my stroker and have narrowed it down to TEA St3 LS6 or the Trickflow 235's (if they will fit).

I decided to go with the 235's simply because they are alot better flowing than the 225's. The problem with the 225's is they don't have as big of a valve as the LS6 st3 or the TFS 235's. I'm sure they perform well but correct me if I'm wrong but the 235's outperform the 225's on a 402+ inch motor.

Yes 402 have made more power with the TF235 then the 225. The 235 are a very nice head there going on my 427. i looked all round and im still going with the TF235 then a LS7 head

If you getting the 235 might want to get the 6 bolt I think there only 100 more but should help with resale value cause there alot of lsx blocks and warhawk block coming out now.

Smaller ports will make a little more TQ down low, But TF did a very good job with these heads. There a Few dyno sheet around from shops where 402 lost nothing down low and picked up at the Top.

The TQ is the reason im going with the TF 235 vs the ls7 heads the ls7 make a little little more up top but lose every where below.

The exhaust flow on the TF235 is great so huge winner if any power adder is used.

I'm not worried about power under 4k rpms because this is a drag race application so the top end power is what I'm after. I will only drive this occasionally on the street. I've got a LQ4 stock bottom with 5.3 heads and a G5X3 in a T/A for my torque on the street.
