^ I am pretty sure this guys blew up because of detonation... Not enough fuel in #7, stock injectors + afr heads + cam + fast = not enough fuel.

I lost compression on #7 a short while ago. Been busy lately but am going to try to get the engine out and pull it apart to see what happened this week.

Default Injectors

a lot of people say that well its not worth Changing out the "Injectors" all i have to say is 1 thing. If your'e to Cheap to buy a set of New Injectors get a Set of Gto "Injectors" there on here and on cars at ur local scrap yard . This ususally is like what there saying light/or heavy mods or stock redlining and then the Engine goes lean trying to keep up addiquite fuel flowing thought the combustion chambers. Then Dam #7 IMo with tuning with Hp tuners and all the ls1's in Vegas.

After FAST 92 install and re-tune. First run at the track. Busted No.7 piston and split the cylinder wall. 26K miles. Pics here:

Knock on wood, I haven't had any issues, but just like everyone is saying, I put my highest flowing injectors in the back and worked my way forward going from 7 to 8, then 5 to 6, ect. Also, I keep my tune via wide band at 12.5:1 on the street, which on the dyno would probably read more like 12.2:1 because of less load. It may seem to rich, but time and time, people have shown that running 13:1 might not cause knock, but it will be a matter of time before you hurt #7.
