Default ws6 cam install

hey im doin a cam install on my 2000 ws6 and i was wondering if anyone knew how much air to pump into the cylinders to keep the valves up?

Make sure you lock down the muffler bearings too. Don't need that spinning while you change your cam.

But seriously.. go to office max and buy a case of compressed air. Put the little red nozzle into the spark plug holes and have 8 friends spray the compressed air in. Now, you have to get the cam out before the compressed air cans run out, so work fast!

Also use a socket on top of the retainer and give it a couple of taps with a hammer. It breaks the locks loose when you compress the spring. Otherwise what happens is when you compress the spring the locks stick and let the valve open.

WTF>>> Dude Ive seen about 3 or 4 people do it with no less than 75 PSI. Even though I would just use rope and put the piston at TDC. .you should be safe with 75-90psi...

I used the TDC method for changing the valve springs. For the cam swap I removed the rockers and push rods.
You need to worry more about the lifters dropping
