But seriously.. go to office max and buy a case of compressed air. Put the little red nozzle into the spark plug holes and have 8 friends spray the compressed air in. Now, you have to get the cam out before the compressed air cans run out, so work fast!
Also use a socket on top of the retainer and give it a couple of taps with a hammer. It breaks the locks loose when you compress the spring. Otherwise what happens is when you compress the spring the locks stick and let the valve open.
Make sure you lock down the muffler bearings too. Don't need that spinning while you change your cam.
