Two questions. Are you making these yourself? If so, have you considered modifying it so it works with other heads (AFR, etc.). I have the original and modified so it worked on my previous Dart heads and my current AFR heads. Still works on GM heads. Just seems the market would increase with this capability.

The tool is made on a 4 axis machine about a 7 iron shot away from where i'm sitting right now.

With sales volume will determine if we should make other versions, however we are rather flexible, I think an L92/LS3 would be next version available.

If it is machined the same as the old Crane version, not out of the box. But a little time with a grinder will fix it so it will. The issue on the AFR's is the larger boss where the valve cover screws in.

It sits on the heads and attaches to the rocker bosses, its a great tool I've had my Crane for about 4 years now. Great idea of Speed Inc to revive it best tool on the market for doing a spring swap.

doesn't affect the pistons, the valves are held in place by air pressure. When Swapping springs in car

when using on a workbench a shop rag positioned under the combustion chamber is all thats needed.

Glad someone is picking up this tool. If I had a L92 and a LS7 head (or dimensions) I could get my friend to draw up a new spring tool up in Solidworks or Pro-E to use on these heads unless you have already started doing that.

L92 can probably be done with a little work

LS7 spring tool would be difficult to make, the rocker bosses are kind of a cluster. 12º valve angle will leave you starting at scratch.

We made this on mastercam, its not easy as it looks, a few unit runs are not worthwhile, we had 100 of these made first run.

I had to modify my crane to fit the large retainers. I don't remember what I paid for the crane but this seems like a much better deal.
